Een foto laat de verandering van een moment zien, de verandering van haar originele vorm en van haar originele context. Deze veranderingen roepen de vraag op hoe tastbaar het beeld is en op wat voor manier het nog tastbaar is. In mijn werk probeer ik die (on)tastbaarheid in het beeld te begrijpen en te onderzoeken.
Wanneer het moment is vergaan en er een grens ontstaat tussen de wording van het beeld en het moment zelf, een grens tussen het bewegende en hetgeen wat heeft voortbewogen en er een samenhang tussen de verandering en de vereeuwiging plaatsvindt, rijst de vraag of het vergane nog bereikbaar is.

A photograph shows us the changing moment, the change from her original form and the change from her original context. These changes are raising the question how tangible the image still is and in what way. In my work I try to understand and to examine these (in)tangibles in the image.
When the moment has passed on and a border arises between the becoming of the image and the moment itself, a border between the moving and that which has moved and where there is a cohesion between the changing and the immortalization, the question arises: Is that which has faded, still reachable?
